Parking information
 

Visitor parking at the American Tobacco Campus (ATC) is available on the first level of the south parking garage along Jackie Robinson Lane/Willard Street. To reach the Duke OIT offices from the south parking garage, exit the garage to the ATC courtyard. Turn left, and head toward the Lucky Strike water tower, located at the end of a grassy field. The Strickland building is on your right as you face the tower.

Enter the Strickland building through the main doors directly beside the water tower and walk to the rear of the main lobby to the ATC security desk. Duke OIT's first-floor reception space is through glass doors on your right.

Directions 

From Duke East Campus/Main Street

  • Take Main Street east to Great Jones Loop, which turns into Ramseur St.
  • Turn right onto W. Ramseur St.
  • Turn right onto Mangum St.

    To the south parking garage: Turn right onto Jackie Robinson Lane/Willard Street. Continue past the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The south parking garage entrance is on the right, immediately past the Blackwell Street intersection.
    To the north parking garage:     Take the first right onto Pettigrew The north parking garage is on the left, past the Blackwell Street intersection.

From Duke West Campus/Chapel Drive

  • Turn left from Chapel Drive onto Duke University Road.
  • Duke University Road becomes West Chapel Hill Street.

    To the south parking garage:     Follow West Chapel Hill Street past Duke Memorial United Methodist Church and Duke Street. Turn right onto Willard Street. The south parking garage is past the Ford dealership on your left, before the Blackwell Street intersection.
    To the north parking garage:     Follow West Chapel Hill Street over the Durham Freeway (NC-147), down the slight hill. At the light before going under the overpass, turn right on Pettigrew Street. The north parking garage is on the right.

From NC-147 N/I-40

  • Take NC-147 North to Exit 12B toward Mangum Street /Roxboro Street.
    To the south parking garage: From the exit ramp, merge onto Jackie Robinson Lane/Willard Street. Continue past the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The south parking garage entrance is on the right, immediately past the Blackwell Street intersection
    To the north parking garage:     Turn right at the light on Roxboro Street. Turn left at the first light on Pettigrew Street. The north parking garage is on the left, past the Blackwell Street intersection.

From NC-147 S/US 15-501 bypass

  • Take NC-147 to Exit 12 toward Mangum Street/Roxboro Street.
  • Cross Mangum Street.
  • Turn left onto Roxboro Street.

    To the south parking garage: Turn left onto Jackie Robinson Lane/Willard Street. Continue past the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The south parking garage entrance is on the right, immediately past the Blackwell Street intersection.
    To the north parking garage: Turn left onto Pettigrew Street. The north parking garage is on the left, past the Blackwell Street intersection.

From I-85 S

  1. In Durham, take Exit 177A toward Durham/Downtown

    To the south parking garage: Take a slight right to US 15-501 Bus./Roxboro Street. Turn right onto Jackie Robinson Lane/Willard Street. Continue past the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The south parking garage entrance is on the right, immediately past the Blackwell Street intersection.
    To the north parking garage:     Turn right onto Pettigrew Street. The north parking garage is on the left, past the Blackwell Street intersection.
